Event ID 4027 e 2142: The LDAP server is unavailable

  

Após realizar a troca de IP de um Domain Controller, o serviço de Exchange Active Directory Topology não conseguia inicializar-se, gerando os seguintes eventos: EventID 4027 The LDAP server is unavailable.

Process msexchangerepl.exe (PID=3840). WCF request (Get Servers for contoso.lab) to the Microsoft Exchange Active Directory Topology service on server (TopologyClientTcpEndpoint (localhost)) failed. Make sure that the service is running. In addition, make sure that the network ports that are used by Microsoft Exchange Active Directory Topology service are not blocked by a firewall. The WCF call was retried 3 time(s). Error Details

 Active Directory server  is not available. Error message: Active directory response: The LDAP server is unavailable. —-> The LDAP server is unavailable.

Troubleshooting:

Como a log já é bem indicativa, fui direto no meu único Domain Controller verificar se havia algo errado. De fato ao realizar o comando DCDIAG, o mesmo constatou um erro de directory services. Como o erro tinha ocorrido em seguida de uma troca de IP, o primeiro ponto que fiz foi verificar se a rede estava correta, e se os servidores se comunicavam corretamente.

O segundo ponto foi verificar o DNS, e de fato lá estava o problema.

Causa:

Após algumas verificações, notei que os registros (same as parent) estavam ainda com o IP antigo, por isso motivo estava ocorrendo a falha ao iniciar o serviço.

Resolução:

Após modificar os registros com o novo IP do Domain Controller, realizei uma limpeza do cache no DNS e também uma limpeza no cache local do servidor de Exchange Server com o comando ipconfig /flushdns.

Dessa forma o problema foi sanado, e o serviço de AD Topology do Exchange iniciou-se com sucesso.
